Our Saturday Amateurs are delighted to announce the appointment of Roddy Macdonald as Co-Manager, working alongside James Drummond.

He replaces the departing Stan Coulter, who called time on his long association with the club at the end of the season and who leaves with our thanks for all his efforts and commitment as a player, coach and ultimately co-manager.

Roddy has an impressive football CV, initially as a player in the junior grade including spells with Arnistion Rangers, Blackburn United, Pumpherston and, most notably, Linlithgow Rose.

In management he enjoyed a successful time at Bridgend United before being recruited by Pumpherston Juniors to take the top job at their club.

After a short break from the game, Roddy now looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead in his new position in season 2014-15.

James and Roddy will be assisted by club stalwart Davie Bell, who moves into a coaching role.
