Saturday evening saw the Macedonian U21 squad visit Creamery Park to train following their victory over their Scottish counterparts the previous night.
Due to play Northern Ireland U21s in Skopje on Tuesday they were not scheduled to fly out from the capital until Sunday morning. Club secretary Robert Napier was contacted by the SFA to see if the club could provide facilities for an evening training session. We were happy to oblige.
The club has earnt a terrific reputation for providing a first class surface to play football on and the pitch was looking sensational. A feat all the more remarkable given that The Creamery had hosted Kelty Hearts in the afternoon in the East of Scotland Cup. Enormous credit goes to our groundsman Ben Peters for his hard work and dedication in preparing things for Saturday and his efforts in general around our home.
