Bathgate Thistle Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of our new management team.

Bobby Main has accepted the position of Manager and will be supported by Peter McIntyre as Assistant Manager.

The duo gained great experience of football management firstly at an amateur level – culminating in a Scottish Cup win – before moving into junior football with Pumpherston. There they achieved the club’s third promotion since re-formation in 1990, finishing second in a very competitive East Region South Division.

Joining them as Coach at Creamery Park is Barrie Malcolm, who joins from Fife club Jeanfield Swifts. Barrie has a background in community coaching with the S.F.A. and the coaching staff hope to foster great relationships with teams throughout the new Bathgate Thistle Community F.C. structure as we look to build a successful club for the future.

Assistant Manager Peter McIntyre said, “We’re very proud to have been given the opportunity to manage a club with both the history and potential of Bathgate Thistle. We are excited to get started and look forward to giving our all to bring success to the football club.”

The committee wish Bobby, Peter and Barrie the very best in their new roles and look forward to working with them in what is an exciting new era for the club.
