Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale visit Creamery Park this afternoon in the second match of The Jags pre-season schedule.
Bathgate manager Andrew Colley will face a stern challenge as he welcomes Senior opposition to The Creamery this afternoon. Following his sides convincing win against Bathgate Thistle Sunday Amateurs in midweek his side will line up against a team who came within 90 minutes of a clash against Scottish Champions Celtic in last seasons William Hill Scottish Cup. LTHV lost out to East Kilbride that day but recently gained some measure of revenge when they played them in a friendly and won 2-nil.
Bathgate Thistle’s new signing Darren Dalrymple scored a first half hat-trick against our Sunday side during the week with his first coming after only 26 seconds. He will be looking to carry on that form whilst our other new signings will be looking to make a good impression on the gaffer. The Creamery Park pitch is looking absolutely tremendous thanks to the ever incredible efforts of our groundsman and a terrific game is in prospect.
The lads deserve a good crowd to encourage them as they edge towards the start of the new season which is now only 2 weeks away. Kick off is 2pm with admission set at £3/£1. We welcome and thank you as always for your support. Together we are stronger,
