Bathgate Thistle are delighted to officially announce the first new additions to the squad for the 16/17 season as Darren Dalrymple and Reece Boyle join the club.

Darren Dalrymple joins the club from Broxburn Athletic having previously featured for Armadale Thistle as well as Senior side Albion Rovers.  He is a dynamic attacker with lots of quality and the club is delighted to welcome him on board.

Reece Boyle, 21, joins the club having turned out for Sauchie Juniors last season.  He also possesses Senior experience having graduated from the Stirling Albion youth academy and spending some time at East Stirling as well.  He is an excellent young defender and a player that we hope will kick-on at Creamery Park this season.

These players represent the beginning of manager Andrew Colley’s recruitment drive this Summer as the club looks to build on last seasons 6th place finish and push for promotion this year.  There will be much more activity in the coming days and weeks as the squad takes shape before the 16/17 campaign begins.  Keep an eye on the website, facebook and twitter pages for all the news.
