Bathgate travel the short distance to Volunteer Park for the derby against Armadale Thistle this weekend in the McBookie.com East Premier League.

After Wednesdays disappointing result against Arniston, Bathgate will be looking to return to winning ways against our local rivals.  A repeat of last weeks’ stunning performance over Jeanfield would be much more welcome.  Bathgate have scored 8 goals in their last 3 games so will be confident that they can score.  Jags striker Robbie Feeney has 3 in 2 and will be confident of scoring against his former club.

Armadale have two wins in their last two matches in the league.  Two one–nil wins against Lochee Utd and Dalkeith Thistle.  Their league form has been up and down but they will be looking for a strong end to the season.  They managed a win against Bathgate in the reverse fixture at Creamery Park earlier in the campaign.

There is no bigger game for either of these two sides this season given the proximity of the other teams in the league.  Both managers will be desperate for the 3 points to make the end of the season much more comfortable.  Both sets of fans will be desperate to see their teams earn the bragging rights over their domestic foes.

It’s sure to be cracking game and the players deserve a passionate and vociferous backing.  Come along and support YOUR team.

Venue:  Volunteer Park, Armadale
