With just 3 games to go until the first match of pre-season, Jags boss Andrew Colley took his squad to Gullane Beach for some team bonding and fitness training along the beautiful East Lothian coast.

The sand dunes on Gullane Beach have long been considered one of the ultimate tests of pre-season fitness for all sorts of sports teams and it was obvious why.  The strength sapping sands and seemingly endless sand dunes proved to be the ultimate obstacle and there were plenty of red faces and sore legs at the end of the gruelling session.  With the first match of pre-season just around the corner the squad are all buzzing to get going.

Video from the day is now available on ThistleTV while we have included some pics from yesterday below.

The Jags will play Bathgate Thistle Sunday Amateurs in our opening pre-season match on Tuesday 19th July at The Creamery.  Kick off is 7pm.  Come along and see how the team is shaping up for 2016/17.
