Today we welcome Dalkeith Thistle to Creamery Park in matchday 5 of the new McBookie.com East Premier League season.
The clubs are quite familiar having faced each other twice last season – a 2-2 draw at Creamery Park followed by a narrow 0-1 win in the return fixture. Although the visitors have taken just four points from as many games this term, a tight match is envisaged as they don’t lose many goals – just five from their fixtures so far, only one less than ourselves.
Asssitant Manager Peter McIntyre said, “We’ve been preparing for a much tougher match this week as Dalkeith will be looking to come here and take something from the match. That said, If we can get the same level of performance from the players as the last couple of weeks then we’re confident that we can get the job done.”
Kickoff at Creamery Park is 2:30pm. Entry is £5 / Concessions £2. As for all league and friendly matches, KIDS GO FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. The squad really appreciate the support they have been receiving at matches so please encourage your friends and family to come along and take in a game! Growing supporter numbers is a big priority for the club as we look to increase our presence in the town.
