Kick Off Tuesday 17th August – 2:30pm – Creamery Park

Tomorrow (Saturday) the Jags face Kinnoull Juniors in what will be the club’s third McBookie.com East Premier League match in a very busy opening week.

The team have gathered four points from a possible six after a convincing victory up in Dundee on opening day and a hard earned – and possibly a little fortunate – draw against a very good Fauldhouse United side in midweek.

The Perthshire outfit have opened up their own campaign with two draws – firstly at home to Dalkeith Thistle last Saturday (1-1) before they hosted Jeanfield Swifts on Tuesday night (0-0).

Coach Barrie Malcolm knows our visitors well and has previously been both a player and Assistant Manager at Tulloch Park.

Assistant Manager Peter McIntyre said, “Tuesday was a tough match against Fauldhouse who played really well and it was maybe a bit of an eye opener for some of the players as to what they can expect in this division. We expect more of the same on Saturday from a team who won their division last season, just like Fauldhouse, and so it will be another hard test for the players.”

Kickoff is 2:30pm at Creamery Park. Entry £5 / Concessions £2 and as ever KIDS GO FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.

There is a very limited amount of match programmes available so if you would like one we would suggest getting along early to avoid disappointment.

Also on sale, priced at just £1, are copies of the new weekly football newspaper, The Juniors, which – as the title suggests – focuses solely on our grade of football. We have agreed to become a stockist of the paper every week and so for every copy sold the club keeps 50p. Initially the club will have 20 copies per week available and we’d be delighted to hear from any supporters who would like to subscribe.
