Bathgate make the trip east this Saturday to face Dalkeith Thistle in the east Premier League in their last away fixture of the season.

Bathgate will be buoyed by their dramatic win over local rivals Armadale Thistle in their last outing.  Bryan Jaconelli’s last minute winner rounded off strikes by Darren MacIssac and Robbie Feeney.  The 3 goals scored at ‘the Volley’ took their goal scoring tally to 12 goals in the last 4 games; an excellent goal-scoring record.  Too many goals have been going in at the other end however and a clean sheet would be very welcome for Jags boss Andy Colley.

Our opponents come into this match on the back of 3 losses in the league.  However in their last match they secured a stunning 4 nil win over Super League outfit Broxburn Athletic in the East of Scotland Cup.  Confidence will be high after such a performance.

The corresponding fixture earlier in the season resulted in a 3-1 win for Bathgate at The Creamery.  The away side took an early lead through Ewan Ralton, but goals from Hassan Nyang, Stuart McLeod and Rhys Minnock secured the three points.

Kings Park, Dalkeith, is the venue for what is sure to be an entertaining game between the two sides. If you can make it then we would love to see you there.
