3 mins – Bathgate get off to a positive start with good interplay between Harry, Lewis & Danny with Danny hitting a shot that goes close

4 mins – GOAL 1-0. We’re off the mark. Aidan plays a defence splitting pass which Harry runs on to, he rounds the keeper and slots it home

5 mins – GOAL 2-0. A Leon throw in finds Harry who repay’s Aidan’s earlier favour and sets him up to accurately side foot a shot past the keeper into the net. A great finish by Aidan.

9 mins – Bathgate are knocking the ball around and playing a fine passing game. Leon, David, Cammy and Ryan are patiently building moves from the back.

11 mins – GOAL 3-0. Lewis has great vision with a pass in behind the defence and it’s a race to the ball between Danny and the keeper. Danny gets there first and slides the ball between the keeper and the near post to score.

12 mins – Leon has a great run beating one, then two players to create a great opportunity to score but the keeper bursts off his line to make a great save at Leon’s feet

14 mins – GOAL 4-0. Harry chases down a loose ball and wins a corner. Connor takes it and floats a great cross to the back post, Cammy tracks it and runs from the edge of the box to meet it at the back post. He brings it down beautifully to set up Aidan who side foots it home from 1 yard out. That was a great goal from a set piece

19 mins – Jake has had practically nothing to do but is called in to action to make a good diving save from a shot which bounces directly in front of him.

23 mins – Leon picks up the ball 30 yards out, he spots the keeper off his line and tries his luck

26 mins – GOAL 5-0. Connor strikes a hard shot which beats the keeper but comes back off the post, the rebound evades Harry but Ross is perfectly placed to strike it home, a great follow up

32 mins – GOAL 6-0. Bathgate are attacking relentlessly now, Leon tries his luck with his right foot and goes close. Harry misses a good chance from a Connor cross. But next up is Ross who doesn’t miss and nets his second goal of the game.

34 mins – Armadale win their first corner of the game, it’s cleared by David and the ref blows for half time

Second Half

36 mins – Bathgate make some changes at half time with Scott replacing Aidan and Bally’s on for Ross.

38 mins – GOAL 7-0. Lewis pings in a lovely corner which is met by Cammy who heads it low down past the keeper into the net

40 mins – Subs Danny & Ryan are replaced Ben & Sam

41 mins – GOAL 8-0. Scott and Sam don’t waste time getting in on the action. Harry and Sam combine well at the edge of the box, Sam strikes a shot which is blocked and the ball bounces loose. Scott gets to it first and hits it past the keeper

42 mins – Coach Stuart tries maintain momentum up by telling the boys to treat the game as if it’s 0-0, but this causes confusion on the sidelines from Lewis’s dad who’s just returned from the bathroom and enquires why we’ve had 8 goals chalked off!

47 mins – Armadale are still creating the odd opportunity but David, Ben, Cammy and Leon are keeping it tight at the back. Jake’s not had anything to do but he’s encouraging the team on with his shouts

49 mins – GOAL 9-0. Another Lewis corner and another headed goal. This time it’s met by Leon who directs a powerful header past the keeper, it travels like a bullet into the net

50 mins – GOAL 10-0. Leon and Connor combine well on the by line, Connor chips in a cross and it’s met by Sam for his first and the team’s third headed goal

51 mins – PENALTY. Lewis is brought down by a defender, the referee hesitates before awarding a penalty. It’s Connor who steps up to take it but the keeper makes a good save

53 mins GOAL 11-0. Bally wins a corner. Connor takes it and varies it this time by playing it short to Harry, it’s knocked back and Connor floats in a cross. It’s Scott who meets it with yet another header for his second goal of the game

55 mins – Substitution. Connor and Harry make way for Danny & Aidan / David and Cammy make way for Ross & Ryan

60 mins – It’s our best move of the match. Ben wins the ball and passes it to Bally who starts a 6 pass move before the keeper makes a good save from Danny

65 mins GOAL 12-0. Aidan grabs his hat trick with a lovely individual goal. He picks up the ball at the edge of the box, nutmegs a defender and strikes a low hard shot past the keeper.

The game ends with a 12 – 0 victory, which takes us to 4 games undefeated and that’s also two clean sheets in a row.
