Bathgate Thistle Amateurs (Saturday) are looking to recruit new players for the forthcoming 2013-14 season. The club plays in Premier Division 2 of the Lothian and Edinburgh Amateur Football Association and hope to bring in some new recruits to freshen up the squad.

The Club are a well-run organisation and are also part of the structure of the Bathgate Thistle Community Football Club which incorporates teams at all levels – from soccer schools, youths, amateurs and through to Junior side Bathgate Thistle. Within this structure, the Community Club aims to provide a pathway for players to progress to the highest level possible.

The Amateur team begin pre-season training on 22^nd June and hope to see a number of new faces on the day and in the coming weeks as it looks to reinforce the quality in the squad to mount a challenge in the league and cups next season.
