Bathgate Thistle will be hoping to build on Saturdays’s victory over Glenrothes when they visit Central park to take on Whitburn.
The Jags travel to Whitburn with a seriously depleted squad but will still be confident of getting a result following the excellent result against Glenrothes. Still missing through injury is captain Stoogs Mcleod. The midfielder is still a couple of weeks away yet. Hassan Nyang completes his suspension and will be available against St Andrews on Saturday. David Taylor, Darren MacIsaac and Reece Boyle all miss out because of other commitments. Grant MacDonald makes his return to the squad for this game.
Whitburn, co-managed by Tom Hendrie and Russell Hogarth, had a blistering start to the season beating Dundee Violet 5-1. They however lost against Armadale last midweek and lost a late goal to go down 2-1 to Forfar WE at the weekend. They have retained the majority of their squad that won promotion from the South Division last year. Whitburn will be looking to ensure that they consolidate their position in the Premier League after a difficult last few years that has seen them drop down from the Super League.
It is sure to be a cracking game, with local bragging rights at stake as well as a vital three points for either team. Please be aware that kick off for this match is now 6.45pm (previously advertised as 7pm).
Entry £6/£3
