The Saturday amateurs have boosted their coaching staff with the arrival of Callum Nimmo.

Callum was an accomplished juvenile player culminating in a successful time at Stoneyburn JFC under 19s, winning regional and league cups, before graduating to their Junior side.

He moved to Rosyth Recreation Juniors for a short spell before returning to Stoneyburn JFC, where his career was unfortunately cut short by recurring knee injuries.

Callum has three years of coaching experience at fellow Premier 2 side Linlithgow Thistle behind him and we are sure he will have a very positive impact on the side while already having a good knowledge of our division.

The new coach said, “I’m thoroughly looking forward to getting started and working alongside Roddy, James, Davie and the rest of the lads.”

Pre-season training starts on Tuesday night and will be a first opportunity for Roddy and Callum to meet the squad.
