Bathgate Thistle Community Football Club are delighted to confirm six new signings for the upcoming season, including the re-signing of former Jags striker Alex Lurinsky.
Alex, 30, brings a wealth of experience to the squad from his time in both the senior game – in spells with Hamilton, Stranraer and East Stirlingshire – and in the juniors with Bo’ness and, most recently, Livingston.

Midfielder Anthony McLaughlin, 21, has joined up from Glasgow University FC – having previously enjoyed a spell with Blackburn United and defender Donald Whitelaw and midfielder Stephen Easton have signed from Whitburn Bluebell Amateurs and Blackburn United u21’s respectively.
Manager Bobby Main said, “The squad is coming together well and we’ve been really happy with the calibre of player we’ve been able to look at during pre-season so far. With these latest signings, we’ve added a good blend of youth and experience. Finding out that Alex was available was terrific and we were delighted to bring him back to the club.”
The new recruits will feature for the first time in a Bathgate jersey on Tuesday night when we open our pre-season fixture programme away to new junior side Kennoway Star Hearts FC. Kickoff 8pm. Full pre-season fixture details will follow on the website tomorrow, Thursday 18 July.
